We are currently hiring a Manager - Eye Care Prpfessional Commercial Marketing

What you'll do:
- Responsible for driving business through HOYA's key channel of distribution - independent eye care professionals (ECPs).
- Plan and manage industry events, ECP marketing, and content/literature.
- Have a track record of consistent execution in trade, shopper, event and/or content marketing.
- Lead content and sales literature content management system (HOYA Marketplace) and printing vendor relationship
- Develop and support patient-facing instore marketing literature and demos for ECP channel
- Drive creative brand guideline adherence and communication for the US marketing team
- Develop master list of used product claims and trademark attribution rules
- Provide product launch support for ECP sales team (namely sales aids and tools) - acting as advocate for the needs of the sales team
- Interface with ECP sales team to drive efficient use of resources in pursuit of strong ROIs
- Drive marketing strategy and support for ECP alliances (PECAA, IDOC, etc.)
- Lead HOYA's key national industry events with support from event planning agency (Vision Expo East & West)
- Drive decisions from key stakeholders to gain consensus approach to key events
- Support smaller regional events by providing key assets to participating sales team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business-related area or equivalent through relevant experience
- At least 4 years of marketing experience or 2 years plus relevant advanced degree
- Optical, pharma or medical device related experience preferred, but not required
- Agency management and budget management experience highly desired
- Understanding of analytics and KPI selection to support decision-making
- Strong general business acumen
- Excellent time-management and execution skills
- Self-starter with eye for detail and execution
- Passion for the vision industry or driven to learn about the vision industry
- Integrity and ethically driven, upholding the values of HOYA Vision Care
- Demonstrates grit and perseverance in face of longer-term projects
- Ability to prioritize time effectively to maximize impact on organization
- Good understanding of the needs and motivation of sales teams
